All our knives come backed with an heirloom style warranty. What this means is if you are the first owner or the hundredth it is covered for the life of the maker!

The general warranty covers faults of the maker and some material failures. Natural handle materials such as stag, bone, and wood may shrink, crack, and discolor with change in humidity, temperature, or age. This is normal and is not covered under this warranty, but falls under the Spa Treatment program. Scale de-lamination, heat treat or geometry issues on the other hand are fully covered under the warranty. Please see the Spa Treatment section below for details on getting an issue or damaged taken care of. 

I also cover any damage caused by "NORMAL USE". Please read below for more details, but the basic idea is use the knife as intended and not as a screw driver, prybar, splitting wedge for large logs ect..... This falls under abuse. 

The general warranty also comes with a 7 day no question asked return or exchange policy. Once you receive your knife and if you aren't happy with something for any reason you have 7 days to contact us about a return or exchange. This only applies if the knife is unused and in new condition. Buying to test and return is not covered by this policy. Please see below on Returns.



As alluded to above each knife style is designed to be used for their specific function. Using ANY knife for a purpose it was not intended for can cause damage and is misuse at best. This is common sense, but in any case it has to be said. Do not use a knife as a screw driver, prybar, splitting wedge for large logs, chopping masonry, cutting nail or bolts, digging, prying with the tip, chopping bone or antler, ect..... This falls under abuse. 

If your knife is damaged, it can likely be fixed and we will do so as quickly and cost effectively as possible. If we determine the damage to be from misuse of the product, then you will be charged for repairs. We will estimate this cost and provide it to you before we repair the product. You will not receive a new, free knife out of a return linked to misuse/abuse. Please see the Spa Treatment section below for more details.


SPA TREATMENT-(touch-up)

This is a free and simple fix and clean up service on knives I make. This covers sharpening, edge repair, small handle repair and refinishing of the handle and blade. To get started on sending your knife in simply contact me through the CONTACT PAGE.  Large repair issues fall more into the warranty policy. Please see above for that. I have a seven day no questions asked return policy for an unused knife.  If the knife is received by us and has signs of use it does not qualify. 


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned knife. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 7 days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us using our CONTACT PAGE.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We recommend USPS Priority Mail.
